This session, moderated by Steve Saltzman, is geared towards institutional distributors of investments and annuities. It will discuss best practices related to the DOL’s new Retirement Security Rule and amended PTEs.
In addition to insights from our meeting attendees, this meeting will feature insights and input from Fred Reish, Esq., a partner in Faegre Drinker’s Benefits & Executive Compensation practice group, the Investment Management group, and the Financial Services ERISA Team. His practice focuses on fiduciary issues, prohibited transactions, tax qualifications, and retirement income. Fred is a consultant and expert witness on ERISA litigation and FINRA arbitration, focusing on cases involving broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, financial service companies, and other service providers.
Consistent with our usual approach, the meeting will be more discussion-based (with input and questions from the attendees) than a typical “listen and learn” webinar.
