Industry Roundtables Schedule

Our highly popular series of roundtable meetings bring together industry leaders and experts to discuss developments, trends and current issues facing specific distribution channels and product lines.

Structured so that all participants have an opportunity to gain insights from the discussion, these meetings have become a regular “must-do” for the majority of our partners and clients since our first meeting in 2009.

Qualified Plans/401(k) Roundtable

This roundtable discussion group is focused on strategies and solutions for financial services firms and their Financial Advisors providing Qualified Plans/401(k)s to their clients. Encompassing more than 170,000 plans with $1.3 trillion in assets, small and mid-sized 401(k) plans present a significant opportunity for firms and Advisors.

Attendees include executives from wirehouse, national, regional, and independent broker dealers, banks, and credit unions whose Financial Advisors are currently engaged in or contemplating supporting their clients with establishing or overhauling qualified plans. We also include other industry experts, including representatives from insurance companies, service providers, and other related firms.

Regulation Best Interest Preparedness Roundtable

The Regulation Best Interest Readiness Roundtable is our newest event designed to promote the sharing of best practices and strategies related to the new obligations under the SEC's Regulation Best Interest. This meeting will be a deeper dive into the specific tasks and tactics for Broker Dealers to ensure compliance with the June 30, 2019 deadline.

Attendees include executives from wirehouse, national, regional, and independent broker dealers, banks, and credit unions. We also include other industry experts, including representatives from product manufacturers, service providers, and other related firms.

Bank & Credit Union Insurance Distribution Roundtable

Introduced in 2018, the Bank and Credit Union Insurance Distribution Roundtable is an event designed to promote the sharing of best practices and strategies related to supporting the sales of life, LTC and disability insurance within a bank and or credit union organization.


Attendees include executives from bank and credit union broker dealers and third-party broker dealers supporting these channels as well as other industry experts, including representatives from insurance companies, service providers, marketing organizations and other related firms.

Broker Dealer Insurance Distribution Roundtable

Held semi-annually since 2010, the Broker Dealer Insurance Distribution Roundtable is an event designed to promote the sharing of best practices and strategies related to supporting the sales of life, LTC and disability insurance within a broker-dealer organization.

Attendees include executives from wirehouse, national, regional and independent broker-dealers as well as other industry experts, including representatives from insurance companies, service providers, marketing organizations and other related firms.

Structured Products Roundtable

The Structured Products Roundtable is an event designed to promote the sharing of best practices and strategies related to offering structured products, including structured notes and deposits. This meeting takes a deep dive into the many opportunities and challenges for firms offering or considering offering these products.

Attendees include executives from national, regional, and independent broker dealers, banks, and credit unions as well as other industry experts, including representatives from issuers, marketing organizations and other related firms.

Bank & Credit Union Annuity Roundtable

The Fee-Based Annuity Roundtable is an event designed to promote the sharing of best practices and strategies related to offering annuities in a fee-based advisory model. This meeting takes a deep dive into the many considerations for these products.

Attendees include executives from wirehouse, national, regional, and independent broker dealers, banks, and credit unions. We also include other industry experts, including representatives from product manufacturers, service providers, and other related firms.

Insurance & Annuity Executive Roundtable

The Insurance & Annuity Executive Roundtable is an invitation only event for senior executives at large firms with responsibilities for the annuity and insurance businesses. This one-day meeting session is held in the third quarter of each year and is focused on discussing high level strategies, initiatives, and plans for the upcoming year.

Attendees include select senior executives from wirehouse, national, regional, bank and independent broker dealers as well as other industry experts, including representatives from insurance companies, service providers, marketing organizations and other related firms.
