Steve Saltzman is the primary business Principal at Saltzman Associates, focusing on our company’s activities related to research, business development consulting, and our popular industry roundtables. As a student of the industry, Steve spends a great deal of time learning from others and translating those insights into actionable information to improve the overall results of our industry.

He organizes and facilitates a number of different industry roundtable groups that are focused on helping institutional distributors grow their investment and insurance business through the use of research, best practices, and benchmarking tools.

In addition to working with banks, broker-dealers and RIAs, Saltzman provides counsel to investment banks, asset managers, insurance underwriters, and other service providers to assist them with improvements to marketing and support strategies, product design, and entering new markets.

With more than 30 years in the financial services industry, Mr. Saltzman has held executive positions at Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda) Ltd., JPMorgan Chase and First Union Bank.

A graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, Saltzman lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons in the Charlotte, NC area.
